After School Sports Program for Boys in Prince George’s County
Program Overview
Fit 2 Be Smart is a sports and fitness-centered program for boys in a structured, safe environment. Our F.A.N. Club (Fitness, Academics, Nutrition) is the after-school program counterpart to our Fit 2 Be Smart Summer Camp, open to kindergarten through 8th grade students Monday through Friday. We focus on nurturing discipline, teamwork, and unity, making after-school care a time for growth and fun.
Benefits of After-School Sports
Joining after-school sports has many perks besides physical activity. It gives kids an opportunity to build social skills and understand the benefits of teamwork. They also get to experience personal growth in a supportive setting. Our sports programs boost confidence and promote positive interactions while equipping kids with new athletic skills.

Our Activities
Our program is about more than just sports. We help kids keep up with schoolwork, and our coaches bring their skills and passion to support each child. In addition to homework help, boys will receive an afternoon snack and participate in a variety of activities to support excellence on and off the field.
Our Coaches
The F.A.N club coaching staff comprises former athletes who have competed at the highest levels of their chosen sport. They are committed to supporting the youth in developing their talents and providing academic support. All coaches are CPR/First Aid certified and must pass a national background check.
Fast Breaks
Fast Breaks are held when Prince George's County Schools are closed for non-federal holidays and/or early dismissal. The drop-in fee for students currently enrolled is $30.00. This fee includes before and after care and a morning/afternoon snack. On these days, students typically attend field trips. Field trip expenses are not included in the drop-in fee.

Sign your child up for an after-school program focusing on sports, academics, and growth in Lanham, MD. Our sign-up is easy, with a $75 one-time fee. Choose before- or after-school care only for $125 a week or before- and after-school care for $145 a week.
